Steps To Fix Dual Screen Mouse Issues In Windows 10
Over the past week, some users have encountered a known error related to mouse issues with dual monitors in Windows 10. This problem can occur for several reasons. Let’s discuss this now.
If you’re working with multiple monitors, chances are you have Windows for that, heck, it can actually hover over it correctly.
I know I’ll stumble upon this, but I won’tFinally found a handy little tool that experts say will make your work across multiple screens smoother.
What Exactly Is The Problem?
So here’s a quick and solid overview of what Windows (and earlier versions of 10) does when using multiple monitors that are of different sizes and resolutions.
Why Is This Happening?
The answer is likely to be quite simple, and also a bit awkward for Microsoft:
It will estimate your monitor’s resolution based on screen size. This would mean that Win 10 would almost count any 4K monitor you have as definitely twice the size of any 2K monitor you might be using.
This may seem logical at first glance, although pixel pitch is not taken into account as 4K monitors typically have much smaller pixel pitch than 2000 FullHD monitors) (iland.
In my case, the base 4K (2160p) monitor is 27″, yours and the WQHD (1440p) monitor here are indeed 27″, and this is how Windows should see the monitors:

Even though my screens have different resolutions, they are all the same size.
This is what Windows thinks the size of my monitors looks like:
The image above also allows us to understand why our mouse cursors move up or down when moving to another monitor, or why the mouse cursor, in particular, moves along a large invisible border (appears to be blocked) corners in between the monitor and 1 2.< /p>
The mouse is submerged in water because Windows thinks we are moving the mouse over an area where there is no screen:

Here’s a particularly short video that many of you may have seen:
How To Understand Mouse Movement Monitors With Pixel Accuracy. Resolution Or Size Features
How do I get my mouse to move between two monitors Windows 10?
Go to the “Settings” tab, view to see your monitors with icons. Click “Define” to display numbers on each monitor confirming the connection as the operating system sent its positions. Click and drag all the monitor icons to best fit the configuration of the physical person.
Install run it and you will see the following screen type:
srcset=”data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.3E org%2f2000%2fsvg%22%20viewbox%3d%220%200%201916%201059%22% %3C%2Fsvg%3E 1916w”>
This tool is DPI aware, which means it knows the actual size of your monitors. It was immediately recognized that the 4K monitor on the left has a resolution of 163 DPI and my On wqhd monitor on the right has a resolution of 109 DPI, which is essentially the same size at 27 inches.
Littlebigmouse now doesn’t know where the monitors are located at your reception, so you may need to click “Adjust Position” or “Adjust Body Shape” and make some changes.
srcset=”data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%22%20viewBox%3D%220%200%20302%20151%22% 3E %3C%2Fsvg%3E 302w”>
Once you’ve set up the position of all your monitors, all you need to do is hit the play button in the bottom right corner.
srcset=”data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.3E org%2f2000%2fsvg%22%20viewbox%3d%220%200%20402%20207%22 % %3C%2Fsvg%3E rather 402w”>
This will just make the changes active and allow anyone to test the mouse by moving the screen.”Start
au to run the tool so that Windows starts.
That’s how I understood it! I use this handyLittle tool for a while, and it works great. No more jerky mouse movements or invisible borders when looking at monitors.
Now we just need the right tool (or Windows patch) that can handle most of the screen scaling issues when panning windows on monitors that already have different screen scales, and I’m possibly the happiest person alive 🙠‚< / p>
